Revelations 6:3-4

This painting (Lord willing) will be a combination of different ideas and paintings mixed into one. The powerful imagery of Revelation in my opinion is often done injustice and or been neglected due to poor interpretation .
The most amazing science fiction does not compare to the wonders that will happen in the future, and never a solution to world problems as the one Christ the Lord will give. Art is a communication tool and they only way we can come close to portraying these said events.

Practice Makes Frustrated

This is a study of a painting done by my favorite Christian artist. Please view the original herehttp://jeremiahbriggs.wordpress.com/2010/01/10/archangel/
This is the unfinished version(obviously -it looks horrible!) and I hope to post the finished one soon. The reason I chose this piece is to help me learn anatomy which is something I struggle with(obviously again!). Despite all this I am learning and have fun doing so. Yes I know it looks bad, but how else do you learn and become stronger without a struggle? Thank the Lord He knows how to pace out our struggles so we can learn to lean on Him!

Merry Humbug To All!!

I painted this in acrylics for my youth pastor's gift. Right now acrylics is my medium of choice. This painting took me about 2 days to complete. Every painting I complete I feel that they turn out better and become easier to produce. Praise the Lord!

Cover Work

Quick digital painting of my friends sketch that he drew for our first comic book cover.
The idea is that this man is before the cross repenting.

My Christmas Hero

One of the great inspiration to me through the holidays is Mr. Scrooge! The grumpy hard hearted bitter cruel heartless Scrooge that is. Such a wonderful  motto: BAAH  Humbug. Spread the news far and wide the spirit of Scroogery lives in my heart, and some of yours!
